Luck Analyzer

Evaluate a completed or ongoing cubing chase and a Star Force run, with separate explanations of luck and meso equivalents.

Recording what happened

The Luck Analyzer evaluates your recorded attempts. Switch between Cubing and Star Force at the top right. Cubing supports both an ongoing chase and a target you have already hit. Keep the target and settings matched to the run.

The Luck analyzer on cubing: what you rolled for and the item, your luck, and the typical runThe Luck analyzer on cubing: what you rolled for and the item, your luck, and the typical run

  1. Cubing — pick Rolling for (Main potential, Bonus potential, or Tier up), then in Where you are now choose Still rolling or Already hit it; both entries are valid. Enter the item level, slot, starting tier, target lines, cube, and the count under Cubes used.
  2. Star Force — enter item level, Started at, what you are Going for, and Times it boomed, plus the Safeguard, event, and MVP options exactly as they were. Optionally add Meso spent on taps — taps only, not spares.
  3. Read the two directions separately: the boom count grades you better or worse, and the meso view draws its own spent-less-or-more spread.

Read the framing, not the mood

The framing follows your entry: Still rolling answers Would have hit it by now; Already hit it answers Finished sooner. Both compare the whole run so far, not the odds of the next roll — the analyzer grades where you stand against the same chase rather than predicting your next cube or tap.

A low hit figure early in a chase means most players have not finished either. That is normal, and it is not a verdict on your future luck. There is no lucky seed or cursed item in these numbers; the run is replayed against the standard process and your count.

Cubes, priced

Your cubes, priced converts your cube count into a meso figure at the cube prices configured in Settings — a purchase equivalent, not a record of what you spent. Median cubes price and Average cubes price price the typical and average run at the same prices, so you can compare. It matters most with free cubes: a run that cost you nothing still reads a nonzero equivalent, and the odds stay valid even when a cube is unpriced.

Star Force meso is a different shape: simulated runs with the same setup estimate the spending distribution (Meso luck, with Typical run and Bad run), so read that figure's label as a replay estimate. The boom count is the fact; the meso figure is the model.

Limits

  1. The analyzer needs your actual target: use the target you were actually chasing, including when you are still rolling. Narrow Rolling for to what you were really chasing, with the cube you actually used.
  2. A run's grade covers that run only — it says nothing about your build's score or your next run.
  3. For a budget going forward, use the cost calculators: the Cubing Calculator and Star Force Calculator price a target before you do it.
