Flame Calculator & Flame Scores

Score a flame roll, see every value a tier can roll and where your roll stands, and rank your gear for the next reflame.

Covers Flame Calculator

Enter an item and read the score

The Flame Calculator has two modes, switched at the top right: My gear, which reads the flamed items recorded on your Gear page, and Manual, for one typed-in item.

The Flame calculator in Manual mode: the item and class, your flame lines, the chance one reset beats your roll, and what the flame can rollThe Flame calculator in Manual mode: the item and class, your flame lines, the chance one reset beats your roll, and what the flame can roll

For Manual:

  1. Enter the Item level, the Item type (Armor or Weapon), whether it is Flame-advantaged, and the Flame type.
  2. For a weapon, add Clean ATT / MATT; then set Main stat, Attack type, and the secondary and tertiary stats for your class, and enter the item's Bonus Stat lines as the in-game flame window shows them.
  3. Read the outputs: the headline chance one reset beats this roll, Flame score, Best possible score, and the Best FD a reset can give, with reset count and cost where a price is available.

What this flame can roll lists the values each tier can roll at that item level — a reference for what is high and low, not a statement about your next roll.

Same mode, different weights

My gear and Manual choose where the item inputs come from. The Flame scoring control chooses how those inputs are valued: Default, Build-aware, or Custom weights. It sits at the top of the page, in Settings under Flames & scrolls, and behind the Flames: link in the Gear header, and it applies to all gear.

Match the scoring mode and weights before comparing scores. Build-aware weights can differ between characters, so selecting the same mode alone does not make two players' scores interchangeable. Item level, type, flame table, and class also matter when comparing roll quality.

After a real reroll, record the actual Bonus Stats with Keep this roll in My gear (or on Gear). A predicted gain or simulated roll is not an improvement you already own.

Rank your gear before reflaming

With your build saved, My gear shows your equipment window and Flame next, best pick first. By FD ranks items by the Final Damage one more reset is expected to add; By chance puts the likeliest improvement first. Without stats entered, the list ranks by how likely a reset is to beat your score. Items it cannot evaluate are listed under Not evaluated with the reason instead of dropped — usually a detail to finish on Gear before the item joins the ranking.

Pick an item in the window or the list to see its current flame and its odds. After a reset, enter the Bonus Stats under Try a roll: the calculator says Keep it when the roll beats your current flame and Reroll when it does not. Keep this roll saves it as the item's flame, and the ranking updates at once.

Reading the chance

The headline is the chance one reset beats this flame. A low value means few possible rolls would beat the flame you entered; a high value means more rolls could improve it.

For example, a 5% chance means about five out of a hundred modeled resets would do better. It does not promise an improvement within twenty attempts.

Read Best possible score as the ceiling under the selected item and flame settings; in My gear it sits under Details with the other per-reset figures. Check those settings and the scoring weights before comparing two flames or a friend's screenshot.
