About this tool & FAQ
Item Value & Gear Inventory compares an Auction House listing, or an exact unequipped item you already own, against the piece currently equipped in that slot on your build. It reports the replacement Final Damage, an estimated make cost to set against the listing price, and whether the item should join your equip-now recommendations, including Interactive and Heroic set-transition effects.
It uses the same acquisition engine as the planner, so an item added here is ranked with the same math as every other recommendation.
Frequently asked questions
What does the value check compare?
The listing’s or owned item’s observed state against the item currently equipped in the same slot. You get the signed replacement Final Damage and, for an Auction House listing, an estimated make cost broken down by clean item, Star Force, Main Potential, Bonus Potential, flames, and scrolling to compare with the full listing price.
Does it work on Heroic worlds?
Auction House purchase recommendations are available only on Interactive worlds. On Heroic, use the Unequipped inventory mode with an item you actually own; its exact swap and set-transition FD can still join recommendations.
Which price does it use for a listing?
The full listing price. Resale value and Auction House tax are not included.
When does an item join my recommendations?
Only when it increases damage over the currently equipped item. If it does not, you still see the damage loss, and an owned item can still be saved in inventory, but it will not appear as an equip-now recommendation until it increases damage.
