The Upgrade Calculator simulates one upgrade on one of your equipped pieces — Star Force, Potential, Bonus Potential, flames, or scrolling — and reports the expected meso cost and the Final Damage gain against your current build. It routes through the same canonical engines as the planner behind the dashboard, so a result here is the same number the planner uses to rank that upgrade.

Frequently asked questions
Which upgrade types can it simulate?
Star Force, Potential, and flames on any eligible equipped slot, plus scrolling and Bonus Potential on Interactive worlds. On Heroic worlds the Scroll and Bonus Pot options are not offered.
How is the Final Damage gain calculated?
The upgraded item’s stats are applied to your saved character stats through the same damage engine as the planner, and the change in Final Damage is reported next to the expected cost, so different pieces can be compared by FD per meso. The projected Power Score puts the result on the same scale as your build.
Why does it say “Enter your build first”?
The simulator scores upgrades against your current build. Enter your gear and stats on the Gear page first; without them there is nothing to compare against.
What happens when an upgrade cannot be calculated?
It shows a reason instead of a number, naming what is missing: for example a custom item without sourced clean stats, a Zero or Destiny weapon without its exact profile, or a scroll state that was never entered. Other upgrade types and other pieces keep working.
